A Generational Family Session at Lake Keowee, SC

One Lake House, One Beautiful Reason to Come Together

This fun family had rented a vacation home on Lake Keowee, gathering from all over to spend a stretch of days together as one big family. Cousins, siblings, parents, grandparents, all of them spread across different towns and states, finally in one place at one time.

They contacted me because they knew this window wouldn't stay open forever. Everyone was together, in one of the most beautiful settings the Upstate has to offer, and they wanted to hold onto it.

I love these sessions. A generational family photoshoot isn't about getting everyone to look perfect. It's about capturing the connection that already exists, the way this family loves each other, the way the little ones cling to their grandparents, the way siblings still laugh at the same old jokes.

Why Generational Sessions Matter

Life moves quickly. Families spread out. Seasons shift before we're ready for them. A generational session is a way of capturing it forever.

I specialize in these gatherings, multigenerational families, extended families, grandparents and grandchildren, all coming together while the coming-together is possible. There's no session I find more meaningful.
