“I became a photographer because some things are too beautiful to forget.”
For nearly 20 years, photography has been how I hold onto the things that matter most. It didn't start as a business. It started as an instinct — a way of keeping moments I knew wouldn't come around again.
Meet Alicia — Your Clemson, SC Portrait Photographer
My husband and I spent years photographing portraits and weddings. Fast-paced, emotional, once-in-a-lifetime days taught me how to anticipate connection, notice the in-between moments, and work with people in a way that feels natural instead of forced.
Then life grew — and my focus grew with it.
I'm a wife and a toddler mom, living in a multigenerational home. I spent years helping to care for my grandmother, who lived to 101. I knew the sound of her voice, the way her hands looked, the small everyday details that are so easy to overlook in the moment. Photographs of her are some of the most treasured things our family owns — and they're the reason I believe so deeply in photographing the people who built your family, right alongside the little ones growing up in it.
Wife. Toddler mom. Daughter. Photographer.
I work with families, expecting mothers, extended generations, and couples planning intimate celebrations across Upstate South Carolina — from Clemson and Anderson to the shores of Lake Keowee and Lake Hartwell. Every session is on-location, every image is made in natural light, and every gallery is built to be printed and treasured.
My approach is simple: golden hour light, a relaxed pace, and a session that feels like an evening together — so the love in your photographs is the real thing.
The Experience
What it feels like to work with me
Outdoor & Natural Light
Every session takes place outside at golden hour — in the warm, soft light that makes everything look the way it actually feels.
Relaxed & Unhurried
I work intentionally. Families leave feeling like they just spent an evening together — not like they survived a photoshoot.
Timeless & Film-Inspired
My editing style is warm, soft, and film-inspired — true to skin tones, clean in color, and built to look just as beautiful in 30 years as it does today.
"I pick up my camera because I know that time moves faster than we expect — and some things are too beautiful to forget."
